Pixels
Pixels opens up with an establishing shot of a low angle on a person placing a box-television with garbage on the side of the street. The TV then explodes and cartoons begin to become reality in the real world. Famous characters such as Pac-Man and Frogger are included in the short film. These cartoons are causing mayhem and destruction in the world. The short film uses great cinematography and camera work along with its special effects. It uses a lot of low angles and high angles as well as using wide shots and close ups. All of the film's cinematography helps creates its message of how technology, specifically video games, have destructed today's society. It's argument is how our society has developed into a technology heavy society with video games hurting our progress.
