The author of the article makes it seem like the dutch angles in Thor are very distracting and take away from the story. I agree with his point thoroughly. The purpose of dutch angles, as it says in the article, is "to cause a sense of unease or disorientation for the viewer", and in a lot of the scenes shown in the video, the dutch angles are used properly. An example of this is this frame:
In this still it is appropriate to use a dutch angle because you want the audience to feel a sense of "unease" and "disorientation". The Destroyer, the machine attacking Thor and friends, is threatening the protagonist of the film and the director wants the audience to feel disorientated and uneased.

This still is a poor choice of using a dutch angle because it is acting like an establishing shot. The audience shouldnt have to feel uneased or disorientated when being shown the setting or place.
I agree with the author of the article because the amount of shots with dutch angles can be very distracting once noticed. I never noticed this about Thor but once you notice it is very distracting.
